'Celebrating 50 years
1968-2018

Scoil Mhuire National School opened its doors  in May 1968.  It was as a result of the amalgamation of the old Uragh boys and girls school.  There were 74 pupils in the school when it opened, with three teachers, Mr Joseph Connaughton (Principal), Mrs Evelyn Smith and Mrs Ann Rasdale.

'A few photos below',  what a wonderful celebration we had.  It was a privilege to see so many faces, past and current teachers, pupils, parents and Board of Management.  A truly wonderful memory shared by the whole community.
