Scoil Mhuire was awareded 'School of The Year’ award at the Eco Rangers awards ceremony on held in Lough Boora Park
. Our effort and dedication to the programme was described as outstanding.

The Eco Rangers schools programme is to reconnect children with nature and encourage them to recognise the importance of protecting it. It helps develop and strengthen the relationship between children and nature and over time inspire them to become guardians of the land. Most importantly to have fun doing it.
Eco Rangers encourages a respect for nature by getting pupils to actively explore it.  We’ve been out on eco safaris- exploring and observing the plants, animals and habitats along trails.
